Established in 1974, the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) is the Australian Government's longest running and largest program with Australian Non-Government Organisations (NGOs). The ANCP provides funding to accredited Australian NGOs to implement projects consistent with the goals of Australia’s development program. In any given year, ANCP NGOs operate in around 50 countries, implementing approximately 400 projects and working with over 2300 local partners.
