Countering high risk radiological threats in the Indo-Pacific

This project seeks to strengthen radiological security in the Indo-Pacific. It supports activities aimed at strengthening physical protection measures at facilities housing high-activity radiological material. Project activities include: (1) building a secure national storage facility for disused radioactive sources in Nepal; and (2) providing capacity building courses in building nuclear security culture to strengthen physical protection measures to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and to the Pacific Region.
