2008-2009 UNDAC, INSARAG and APHP Activities
The UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC), the International Urban Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) and the Asia-Pacific Humanitarian Partnership (APHP) are international mechanisms that AusAID supports to responds to International emergencies. Funding under this initiatives addresses the preparedness training for INSARAG and APHP as well support the Australian's UNDAC deployment account, to retain the capability to deploy Australian UNDAC members on emergency response missions when needed. The total value of this initiative is $0.1 million over 2 years, starting 2008-09.
