Earth Observatory of Singapore

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) is a research lab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. It uses satellite remote sensing, mainly synthetic aperture radar (SAR), to map natural hazards and disasters. The lab produces Damage Proxy Maps (DPMs) and Flood Proxy Maps (FPMs) showing where damage or flooding has likely occurred. Its work focuses on Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific, and it also responds to major disasters worldwide.
