GoN, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport (MOPIT), Department of Roads (DOR), acting on behalf of Government of Nepal invites Sealed Bids for Supply, Delivery and Training of Training Simulator: Hydraulic Excavator. The bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines : Procurement under IBRD loans and IDA Credits (May 2010, revised January 2011) and is open to all the bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Document. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased from the first date of publication of this Invitation for Bids upto February 1, 2015 by any interested eligiblebidder on the submission of a written application to the above officeand upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 1000.00 or its equivalent in freely convertible currency. 3. If so requested in writing, and on payment of an additional mailing fee, in the form of a demand draft or cash payment, the documents may be sent by courier to the address requested. However, untimely delivery, loss or misplacement of documents will not be responsibility of the above office. 4. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12.00 hours on February 2, 2015 . Late bids will be rejected . Bids will be opened immediately after the submission deadline in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend. 5. If the specified date for the last date of bid purchasing and submission /opening date falls on a Government holidaythen the same time of next working day shall be considered for such events. However, the date for bid submission and opening shall be considered the next working day of last date of bid purchasing. In such cases, the validity of bid security shall be considered from initially specified last date for bid submission 6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of bid submission and must be accompanied by a bid security of Rs. 100,000.00 or equivalent in freely convertible currency . Bids will be opened immediately after the submission deadline in the presence of the bidder's representa tives who choose to attend. The validity of bid security shall be for a period of 118 days after the deadline of submission of bids (May 31, 2015) . The format of the bid security (Bank Guarantee) should be in accordance with form of Bid Security format included in Section IV: Bidding Forms of Bid Documents. 7. The bidder shall submit the bid with letter of bid duly completed as per Instructions to Bidders Clause 12.1. The bid without the total bid amount shall be considered non responsiveand shall be rejected. 8.
