The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic maintenance of Periodic Maintenance of NH 66-003 of Attariya to Sahajpur ( Ch 26+700 (Gaimare) to 57+760 =31.06 Km), Kailali.Bidding is open to all eligible bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised September 2023). 2. Road Division, Mahendranagar invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic Maintenance by Surface treatment of Periodic Maintenance of NH 66-003 of Attariya to Sahajpur ( Ch 26+700 (Gaimare) to 57+760 =31.06 Km), Kailali under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: • Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the last 5 years: Rs 9,34,33,387.00 (93.43 million). 3. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Participation as Prime contractor, joint venture member2management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least One (1) Road construction/Maintenance Contract within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NPR 3,73,73,355.00 (37.37 million) that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works. The similarity shall be based on the physical size, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section VI, Works Requirements. 4. Bids must be valid until 120 days after opening of bids. and must be accompanied by a bid security (scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of NRs 18,50,000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid. 8.
