Government of Madhesh Province Ministry of Forest and Environment Province Forest Directorate Forests for Prosperity Project Provincial Project Management Unit Janakpurdham, Dhanusha REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (Date of Publication: June 7, 2025) Grant No.: TF-B2796 Assignment Title: Procurement of Services of Forestry and Enterprises Specialist (Individual Consultant) Reference No.: NP-MOTIFE-PROVINCE 2-168355-CS-INDV The Government of Nepal has received a financing from The World Bank for Forest for Prosperity Project, and it intends to apply the fund for Procurement of services of Forestry and Enterprises Specialist (Individual Consultant). Objective of the assignment: The objective of this task is to provide full oversight and support for implementation of forestry programs, enterprise development, and related technical aspects of the project to the PPMU, Madhesh province. The Consultant will also provide ongoing support and guidance to staffs working on forestry at Province and local level. Required qualification and experience: Master's degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management, or relevant discipline Minimum of Ten years’ experience in the field of forestry, community forestry, forest enterprise, agro-forestry livelihood activities The Consultant is expected to assist the project team for a net input of 200 person days over a period of current and next FY. FPP invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants are requested to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Signed CV, description of similar assignments, and experience in similar conditions). Method of selection will be Individual Consultant Selection following The World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, fifth edition September 2023.
