No.: NP-AEPC-186439-NC-RFB Country: Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal Project: SREP-Supported Extended Bio-Gas Project (P131592), Grant No. TF 16552 The Government of Nepal has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of SREP-Supported Extended Bio-Gas Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract of Procurement of Services. AEPC is the executing agency of the Project. The AEPC/SREP invites Sealed Bids for the tasks “ Technical and Financial Verification of Large Biogas and Municipal Waste to Energy Sub-projects ” from all interested registered eligible and qualified Bidders/Service Providers under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the prevailing Public Procurement Act and Regulations of Nepal and Procurement Guideline of the World Bank. Interested Bidders/Service Providers may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document in English at the office of AEPC, Mid-Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal. Complete set of Bidding Document in English for the task may be purchased from the office of AEPC, Mid Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal during office hours on all working days by eligible bidders 2 October 2020 onwards on the submission of a Written Application , copies of Firm/Company Registration and PAN/ VAT Registration Certificates and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 3,000.00 . The Bid Document shall be available for sale up to office hours till 8 November 2020 . Pre-bid meeting shall be held at AEPC, Mid-Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal at 11:00 A.M. on 22 October 2020. Interested Eligible and Qualified Bidders are required to submit the Sealed Bids to the office of AEPC, Mid Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal by hand/courier on or before 12.00 Noon on 9 November 2020 . Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security, amounting to minimum NRs. 150,000.00 , which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period (i.e., Valid up to minimum 8 March 2021). If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in AEPC's Office Code 308003502 and Account Name DTCO, Kathmandu, Bank Account No. 1201200001002524 at Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Sealed Bid. Received Sealed Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 12:30 P.M. on 9 November 2020 at the office of AEPC, Mid-Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal. If the last date of Purchasing the Bidding Document, Bid Submission & Bid Opening date falls on a government/public holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity period shall be recognized with effective from the original bid submission deadline. AEPC/SREP reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
