The Government of Nepal has received a credit from IDA towards the cost of Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under this Contract. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, as per Electronic Government Procurement System, procedures (Model Bidding Document approved by the World Bank). This is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference shall not apply. Cost estimate for this construction is NPR. 4,895,416.70 (Inclusive of VAT). 2. Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Model Meat Training Center, Duhabi in the Contract Package as shown below. To qualify for award of contract, eligible Bidders must meet the following key qualifications and other qualifications specified in the bidding documents: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best three (3) years within the last five (5) years : NPR 6,490,000.00 Minimum specific work experience of similar size and nature: One , RCC Building of Total Built-up area of at least 63 m2 4. For the purpose of Bidders to submit their bid electronically through PPMO’s Web Site http://www.bolpatra.gov.np., the Bidders may download the bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document (as specified in the table above) in the Employer's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below. Electronic bids must be submitted to the Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project,Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur through PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np on or before 12:00 hrs of 5 March, 2020. Late bids will be rejected and not opened. The bids will be opened electronically at 12:30 hours on 5 March, 2020 in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project, Hariharbhawan, Lalitpur. 8. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security for the amount as specified in the table above in local currency. The bid security guarantee shall confirm to the standard format as specified in the bid document.
