The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic maintenance of [Periodic Maintenance of Along Barkhe khola Dhulikhel road Section (Ch 116+000-130+000)NH 13, Trolly Bus-Surya Binayak (001+100-002+300]. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders as per Section V of bidding document. 2. [204 Road Division Bhaktapur] invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic Maintenance (Surface Treatment, drain Maintenance,Asphalt rehab & Overlay, Traffic safety and Structural) works of [Barkhe khola Dhulikhel road Section (Ch 116+000- 130+000)NH 13, Trolly Bus-Surya Binayak (001+100-002+300] under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: • Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years out of last 10 years: NPR 107 Million 3. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: at least One (1) Contract within the last ten (10) years, with a value of NPR 64300 (In Thousands) Construction of Road Works that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works 4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office [204 Road Division Bhaktapur] through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on [Date 31 day from the date of publication of notice]. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. Procurement of Works- Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure | 6 8. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend immediately after submission deadline at the office of [204 Road Division Bhaktapur,Katunje]. Bids must be valid for a period 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security(scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of NPR 30 Lakh which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. [Date 150 days from the last date of submission]) 9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
