The consulting services (“the Services”) include; supporting the PPMU for effective implementation of the Program. The components of the program are: Enhancing efficiency and resilience of Provincial Roads; Enhancing all-weather connectivity and access to Rural Municipalities; Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Development; Improvement of complimentary infrastructure and services; Contingent Emergency Response. The detail scope of the services are stated in TOR. The PLRIP-PPMU, Madhesh Province now invites eligible “Consultants” to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide detailed curriculum vitae demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria for Project Support Engineer are: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with 5 years of general experience, 3 years of specific experience in Road/Bridge infrastructure works and 3 years of experience with DP partners. The shortlisting criteria for Social Mobilizer are: At least +2 or equivalent level of academic qualification with 2 years of general experience, 2 years of specific experience in social mobilization in infrastructure related projects and 2 years of experience with DP partners. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III of the Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Fifth Edition September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant’s Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
