The Government of Nepal has received a loan/credit from IDA towards the cost of Modernization of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Scheme Phase - 2 and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Command Area Protection Works at Pathraiya River (Both Banks) - Construction of Culverts, Drain Inlets, Gravel Metalling, River Training Works etc. at Patharaiya River . Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible countries as per Section V of bidding document. “For the contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.” 2. The Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Command Area Protection Works at Pathraiya River (Both Banks) - Construction of Culverts, Drain Inlets, Gravel Metalling, River Training Works etc. at Patharaiya River . 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised November 2017 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project Madhukar Rana, Project Director, Email: [email protected] and inspect the Bidding document during office hours i.e. 10: 00 to 17:00 hours at the address given above . 6. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of NPR 20,000 or USD 200.
