The Government of Nepal has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System Preparedness Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Procurement of PPE Items and Other goods for COVID -19 Controls and Prevention 2. The bids are divided into twelve contracts. Bidders may bid for one or all contracts, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. Evaluation will be done separately for each package, with contracts awarded based on the least cost to the Purchaser. 4. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” , 2016, revised August 2018, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of Management Division, Department of Health Services, Teku, Kathmandu, Nepal, Telephone 01-5361768 or, www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp , and inspect the bidding document during office hours at the address given below . 6.
