The consulting services include Detailed Engineering Design and Construction Supervision for Patharaiya-Kandra Area Irrigation Development and Modernization (Pathraiya Extension Canal) Under Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project Phase3. Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project, Tikapur, Kailali now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria include core business and years in business, relevant experience, technical and managerial capability of the firm as detailed below: General experiences of the firm: Preferably 10 years’ or more experience of equivalent civil engineering projects. Specific experiences of the firm (Within last 7 years): i) Successful accomplishments of design of irrigation projects with command area not less than 5000 ha (Minimum 2 Projects/Assignments). ii) Successful accomplishments of supervision of irrigation projects with command area not less than 5000 ha (Minimum 2 Projects/Assignments). iii) Successful accomplishments of Construction Supervision/Quality Control of Civil Engineering Projects (Cost of single construction contract package not less than NPR 0.50 billion) (Minimum 2 Projects/Assignments). Availability of key technical and managerial (professional) staffs in the firm. Key personnel are not evaluated at this stage. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraphs 3.14 through 3.17 of the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. The form of association shall be clearly specified in the expression of interest. The form of association, if not stated clearly, shall be considered as sub-consultancy. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
