GoN, Ministry of Physical Planning and Works (MOPPW), Department of Roads ( DOR ), acting on behalf of Government of Nepal invites Sealed Bids for the purposes as mentioned in the table. The bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines : Procurement under IBRD loans and IDA Credits (May 2010, revised January 2011) and is open to all the bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Document. 2. Separate bid has to be submitted by the bidder for each Contract Identification Number. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below. A complete set of bidding documentsmay be purchased from the first date of publication of this Invitation for Bids up to 25.03.2012 by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the above office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as mentioned in the above table . 4. The documents may be sent on request by post through prepaidpostal parcel on the fulfillment of the above criteria. However, untimely delivery, loss or misplacement of documents will not be responsibility of the above office. 5. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12.00 hours on 26.03. 2012 . Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately after the submission deadline in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend. 6. If the specified date for the last date of bid purchasing and submission /opening date falls on a Government holiday then the same time of next working day shall be considered for suchevents. However, the date for bid submission and opening shall be considered the next working day of last date of bid purchasing. In such cases, the validity of bid security shall be considered from initially specified last date for bid submission 7. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of bid submission and must be accompanied by a bid security of amount as mentioned in the above table. The validity of bid security shall be for a period of 118 days after the deadline of submission of bids. The format of the bid security (Bank Guarantee) should be in accordance with form of Bid Security format included in Section IV: Bidding Forms of Bid Documents. 8.
