Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised Nov 2017). The Food and Nutrition Security Enhancement Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Motorcycles Sixteen (16 Nos) and Scooters (4Nos) under National competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement Act and Regulations. The bidder may submit the bid for single or more slices as mentioned below and offer discounts/cross discounts. Evaluation will be done slice by slice basis, with contracts awarded based on the award combination that is of least cost to the Purchaser. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Food and Nutrition Security Enhancement Project, [email protected] during office hours, 10.00 to 16.00 hours at the address given below. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased from the office of Food and Nutrition Security Enhancement Project, Harihar Bhawan, Lalitpur by eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application, along with the certified copy of Company Registration Certificate, PAN/VAT Certificate, and Tax Clearance (2074/75) and Self Declaration letter of not being blacklisted till to submit date, and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Nrs 3,000.00 (In words: NRs Three thousand Only) dep o sited at Nepal Bank Ltd., Gabahal Branch, bank account Number 00101000000001001001 , Office Code: 312003407 , Revenue Classification Number: 14229 . Sealed bids must be submitted to the office address as below by hand/courier on or before 12.00 hours (NST) on Dec 30, 2019. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 12.30 hrs on Dec 30, 2019. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening (i.e. valid upto 29 March, 2020 ) and must be accompanied by a Bid Security as mention below with Validity Period of 120 days from the opening date of bids (i.e. valid upto 28 April, 2020 ). If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission. The project reserves the right to accept or reject the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
