Specific Procurement Notice (Second Amendment) Request for Bids Works (Without Prequalification) Employer: Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project, Tikapur, Kailali Project: Modernization of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Scheme Phase 2 Contract title: Command Area Development Works of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation System Country: Nepal Loan No. /Credit No. : IDA 61940 NP RFB No: NP-DOI-MRJKIP-150738-CW-RFB Issued on: 18th February, 2020 The Government of Nepal has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Modernization of Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Scheme Phase 2 , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Command Area Development Works of Rani, Jamara and Kulariya Irrigation Systems. “For all three contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment Disbursement Method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.” The Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Rani Jamara Kulariya Irrigation Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Command Area Development Works of Rani, Jamara and Kulariya Irrigation Systems. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of address given below or may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NPR 20,000 or USD 200 till May 26, 2020 during office hours. Or Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp . Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.
