REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NATIONAL INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT NEPAL-Strengthening Systems for Social Protection and Civil Registration Project Hiring of Individual Consultants for the PMU, Department of Civil Registration [DOCR] First Publication Date: 16th March, 2018 Project ID: P154548 Credit Number: 59120-NP The Government of Nepal has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Systems for Social Protection and Civil Registration Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the selection of individual consultants to form part of the Project Monitoring Unit of the Department of Civil Registration [DOCR] of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development [MOFALD] of the Government of Nepal, as per the indicative Terms of Reference published into department website. The Project Management Unit [PMU], DOCR of MOFALD now invites eligible consultants (“Consultants”) of the following positions to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, Revised July 2014 (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest, and to paragraphs 1.11-1.13, setting forth the World Bank’s eligibility requirements. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant selection method set out in the Consultant Guidelines. Interested applicants are requested to submit their interest letter along with up-to-date CV [Curriculum Vitae], education, experience and training certificates by no later than 17:00 hours by 30 March, 2018 by hardcopy at the office address. The subject line of the communication from the consultants should clearly indicate the position, i.e., ‘Expression of Interest for the Position of ……………… [insert the position applying for] at the PMU, DOCR’.
