REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI) (First Publication on February 12, 2020) NEPAL [ RURAL WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (RWSSIP) Loan No./Credit No./Grant No.: Credit: IDA 5446-NP Grant: IDA H945-NP The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (RWSSIP) is mainly funded by IDA (The World Bank) and GoN ( IDA Credit # 5446- NP and Grant # H945- NP ) with community contributions both in cash and kind to implement it and intends to apply part of this fund to payments under the contracts to avail professional services of service agencies (SAs) in the following areas on as and when needed basis : Service Area: Assignment: Technical, Operational and Environmental Audit of Batch-X Scheme (NP-RWSSFDB-147114-CS-CQS) The objective of this assignment is to review and assess the processes and the manner in which the schemes were implemented so as to ascertain how effectively the RWSSFDB principles and approaches were applied to achieve the objectives of the project. Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Selection Based on Consultants’ Qualification (CQS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines. The terms of reference (ToR) of this assignment can be downloaded from www.rwssfdb.org . The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board now invite eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. Consulting Firms may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications, where all the JV members shall be jointly and severely liable for the entire assignment. EOI should indicate whether association is in the form of JV or sub-consultancy and indicate the lead firm. All the eligible firms willing to provide the service are requested to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the above assignment in a written form to the address below by 5:30 PM, March 04, 2020 under the following terms and conditions: The REOI preferred to submit in a prescribed form available at The Board’s Head Office or can be downloaded from our website: http://www.rwssfdb.org The firms must submit copies of Firm’s registration certificate, VAT registration certificate and Tax clearance certificate for FY 2018/19, Self-declaration letter of not being ineligible up to the submission date including documents of evidence to related work experience certificates along with the EOI. Fund Board reserves right to accept or reject the Expression of Interest (EOI) submitted by the firm without disclosing the reason what so ever. Only short-listed firms will be requested to submit detailed Technical and Financial Proposals The procurement will be done as per the World Bank Guidelines.
