The Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division, Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia Nepal Phase 1 Project (ACCESS) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the above contract. The work mainly consists of two phases: Phase 1: Upgrading Works Upgrading of existing roads from 2 lanes to 4 Lanes and Service Lanes, Structures, Bridges, etc., including the Defect Notification Period. Phase 2: Performance-Based Maintenance Works Maintenance work consists of all activities to be carried out to achieve and keep the road assets as defined in the PBM Specifications. 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing- July 2016 (revised November 2020) ” (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. The evaluation will be carried out using rated criteria, with 20% weight assigned to the technical proposal and 80% to the financial offer. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division, Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia Nepal Phase 1 Project (ACCESS), Chakupat, Lalitpur , email: [email protected], and inspect the RFB Document during office hours (10:00 to 17:00 hours, Nepal Standard Time (NST)). Interested bidders, registered in the e-GP portal of Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), shall download the RFB document from http://www.bolpatra.gov.np after login. A non-refundable fee of NPR 20,000.00 or equivalent shall be deposited as specified in the RFB document. The bank deposit voucher shall be submitted with the bid.
