Government of Nepal, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Department of Roads has applied for financing from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Road Sector Development Project, Additional Financing, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this finance on road safety works, under the Contracts : RSDPAF-W-RS-ICB-TSGD & KB-1, RSDPAF-W-RS-ICB-SM, CJ & STD-2 and RSDPAF-W-RS-ICB-TJ-3. 2. The Department of Roads, Road Sector Development Project on behalf of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Government of Nepal now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Road Safety Works of Tripurasundari (Baitadi)-Satbanjh-Gokuleshwor-Darchula and Khodpe-Bajhang Road, Road Safety Works of Sitalpati-Musikot, Chinchhu-Jajarkot , Surkhet-Tallodhungeswor-Dailekh Road and Road Safety Works of Tallodhungeswor-Jumla Road in the Contract Package as shown below. Bidding will be conducted following the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures and will be conducted in accordance with the Bank's "Single-Stage" Bidding Procedure specified in the World Bank's Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Plant, Design, Supply and Installation April 2008 revised August 2010 and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents. 4. The bidder must have experience of road construction. Detailed qualification criteria of the bidder, manufacturers are more elaborately described in the bidding documents. 5. Domestic bidders have the option to submit their bids electronically through DoR E-submission system. However, this option is not availablefor international bidders who will be required to submit hard copies of their bids manually. 8.
