The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic maintenance of Pokhara-Bindabasini Road F042_01 (from Prithvi Chowk 0+000 to Bindabasini Temple 3+960) 3.96 km. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016 (Revised September 2023). 2. Road Division Pokhara invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic Maintenance [Asphalt Overlay] of Pokhara-Bindabasini Road F042_01 (from Prithvi Chowk 0+000 to Bindabasini Temple 3+960) 3.96 km under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the last 5 years: Rs 127 millions Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least one (1) contract of road construction work with Asphalt Concrete within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least 50.755 millions 3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Road Division Pokhara, Kaski, Telephone No. 061-463487, Email [email protected] or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. 4. Bidder may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document NRs. 5000 in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below . Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Road Division Pokhara through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 2025/10/26 AD. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. 6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend immediately after submission deadline at the office of Road Division Pokhara. Bids must be valid until 2026/02/23 AD and must be accompanied by a bid security(scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of Rs. 2,200,000, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. 2026/03/25 AD) 7. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
