Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures (Model Bidding Document as per Electronic Government Procurement issued by PPMO and approved by the World Bank). This is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference shall not apply. Infrastructure Development Office, Rautahat, Project for Strengthening the National Rural Transport Program on behalf of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for Periodic Maintenance of Prempur- Gonahi-Karkach-Karmahiya-Katharia-Hathiyahi-Junglesahiya-Kanakpur-MHW Road and River Crossing Structures from CH: 0+000 to CH: 21+680 Km in the Contract Package as shown below. To qualify for award of contract, eligible Bidders must meet the following key qualifications and other qualifications specified in bidding documents: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best three (3 ) years within the last five (5) years : Shall be NRs 3,76,20,000.00 Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Must meet requirement of Two(2) road works contract each with a value of at least NRs 2,00,65,000.00 and 9200 m 3 of Earth Work and 6500 m 3 of Screened Sub-base work with compactions work in single contract . 5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by the interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the Infrastructure Development Office, Rautahat and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as shown in the above table. Bidding documents can be purchased during office hours till 15th Jan 2019 ( 16:00 Hours ) from Infrastructure Development Office, Rautahat :If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services within Nepal upon payment of additional cost of NRs. 500.
