Invitation for Bids (IFB) Government of Nepal (GoN) Ministry of Agriculture Development Project for Agriculture Commercialization and Trade (PACT) Maharajgunj, Kathmandu [IDA Credit 5180-NEP and IDA Grant H813-NEP)] Supply and Delivery of 4-WD, Hard-top Vehicle (SUV), and Double Cab Pick-up [PACT-AF/G/ICB/33/2013] (Date of first publication: 14 November 2013) 1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. 776 of 21 May 2010. 2. The Government of Nepal has received a credit and Grant from the International Development Association towards the cost of Project for Agriculture Commercialization and Trade (PACT), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit/Grant to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of 4-WD Vehicles (Hard Top SUV; and Double CabPick-up)/ PACT-AF/G/ICB/33/2013. 3. The Project for Agriculture Commercialization and Trade (PACT), Ministry of Agriculture Development now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply and Delivery of following vehicles at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, and is open to all bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. 5.
