Summary: Project HOPE is seeking an Emergency Response Supply Chain Officer (Consultant) to provide technical and operational supply chain support for the Nepal Floods and Landslides Response. The consultant will support the establishment, coordination, and strengthening of emergency supply chain and logistics systems to facilitate the timely procurement, movement, tracking, and distribution of emergency health commodities and humanitarian supplies. The consultant will work closely with Project HOPE's Emergency Response, Program, Finance, Security, and Operations teams, as well as relevant local authorities, logistics providers, vendors, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms. Scope of Consultancy The consultant will provide services in the following areas: Emergency Supply Chain Coordination Support coordination of procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution activities for emergency medical commodities and humanitarian supplies. Coordinate with vendors, logistics providers, local authorities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely and efficient movement of supplies. Support logistics coordination and identify issues that may affect the availability or delivery of critical supplies. Supply Chain Monitoring & Tracking Monitor procurement, shipment, transportation, inventory, and distribution activities. Maintain appropriate supply chain and logistics tracking mechanisms. Identify delays, bottlenecks, access constraints, and other operational issues that may affect supply availability or delivery timelines. Maintain documentation of significant supply movements, transportation activities, distribution operations, and logistics issues requiring attention. Risk Management & Operational Improvement Identify supply chain, transportation, access, and operational risks affecting emergency response activities. Develop practical contingency measures and recommendations to mitigate identified risks. Provide recommendations to strengthen continuity of operations, coordination, and overall supply chain efficiency. Support adjustments to logistics processes as response conditions and operational requirements evolve. Expected Outputs During the consultancy period, the consultant is expected to contribute and deliver the following: Supply chain and logistics status updates covering procurement, shipment, transportation, inventory, distribution activities, key challenges, risks, and recommended actions. Ongoing supply movement and logistics documentation to support visibility and coordination of response activities. Risk and contingency recommendations addressing significant supply chain, transportation, access, and operational risks as needed. Final supply chain and logistics summary documenting activities completed, key achievements, challenges, risks addressed, outstanding issues, and recommendations for ongoing response operations Detailed deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations will be agreed up
