Field Public Health Coordinator

The Field Public Health Coordinator is a field-based position stationed at Mohanyal Rural Municipality of Kailali District in Sudurpaschim Province and requires frequent movement within the project area. S/he will work with the local government and coordinate all field activities and oversee upgrading basic amenities in health facilities, capacity building of the health workforce, stakeholder coordination, learning and documentation. S/he will team up with a field-based energy officer and will be backed up by the Public Health Lead and other interdisciplinary team members based in Kathmandu. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, health sciences, or a related field. At least one year of professional experience in public health, community health, or municipal health programmes is expected. Experience working with local governments and health facilities is preferred. Preference will be given to women and applicants from Sudurpaschim Province. We are looking for a candidate who is highly committed to working in a mid-hill rural setting for at least 18 months.
