About this tender
Expression of Interest (EOI)
NGO Partner Selection
Date of Publication: 6 November 2026
ADRA, the global humanitarian organisation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is dedicated to delivering relief and development support to individuals in more than 120 countries – re-gardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association. By partnering with local communities, organisations, and governments, we ensure our programs are cultural-ly appropriate and empower local capacities for sustainable change.
In Nepal, ADRA has been a trusted development partner for over 35 years, with expertise in health, livelihoods, education, and disaster risk management. We work with all three levels of government and with civil society nationwide, with a focus on the provinces of Madhesh, Bag-mati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim.
ADRA Nepal is anticipating a new funding opportunity to strengthen the capacity of smallholder farmers and local institutions in the development of the dairy sector in Banke, Bardiya, Rupandehi and Kapil-vastu districts of Lumbini province. The project majorly focuses on climate resiliency of smallholder dairy farming households, genetic improvement, and inclusive markets for economic empowerment in Nepal's Western Terai region. Hence, ADRA Nepal is inviting Expression of Interest from qualified regis-tered NGOs to prepare for this opportunity. ADRA Nepal seeks to identify qualified and experienced a) local district-based NGO partners registered in Banke, Bardiya, Rupandehi and Kapilvastu and b) tech-nical assistance NGO partners with a strong presence and proven implementation capacity in the dairy sector in the targeted province. Through this Expression of Interest (EOI), ADRA Nepal will shortlist eligible organizations for further organizational assessment and potential partnership, subject to donor approval and project funding.
The To R, organizational profile, the concept note, and other requested documents (as per To R) to be submitted along with the EOI can be found on the ADRA Nepal website https://adranepal.org/get-involved/express-of-interest-2.
