Green Job Creation through Recycling and Upcycling in Pokhara Metropolitan City (GCRU)
The “Green Job Creation through Recycling and Upcycling in Pokhara Metropolitan City (GCRU) project” is designed to promote the green economy by establishing recycling/upcycling (RU) enterprises based on the circular economy model, in place of the current throw away approach, thereby increasing green jobs and reducing pollution and environmental impact of solid waste. This objective will be achieved through three interlinked areas of interventions – policy and coordination, promoting of RU enterprises, and empowering communities for increased awareness and community level RU initiatives.

Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project (DRILP) Phase III
DRILP Phase 3 will support the Government of Nepal to accelerate recovery and reconstruction following the devastating earthquake of 25 April 2015 and the major aftershock of 12 May 2015. The project will provide the Technical Assistance (TA) to implement the Asian Development Bank (ADB) financed Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project in rebuilding 450 kms of damaged roads in 12 districts[1] of Nepal and rehabilitate 200 kms of trails in two[2] districts. [1] The 12 earthquake affected project districts are Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Kavre, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Lamjung, Gorkha and Chitwan [2] Dolakha and Gorkha

Accountability towards informal settlers in Nepal
PHASE Nepal works to uplift the livelihood, access to health and education; especially the vulnerable group of population. Through an accountability themed Project, PHASE Nepal has been conducting research among people living in informal settlement in three major cities of Nepal; Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bhaktapur. It aims to assess the living condition, access to services of people and strengthen relationships between relevant stakeholders and improve accountability towards them.
