F.a: Promotion of Rights of Migrant Workers
People Forum is a non-governmental organization established in 2003 for the protection of human rights and promotion of rule of law in Nepal. Its work concentrates especially on different vulnerable groups. Migrant workers have been the main beneficiaries of previous projects. People Forum?s central office is located in Kathmandu, and the organization has had projects outside of the capital city in the following districts: Jhapa, Morang, Kaski, Chitwan, Banke, Sarlahi, Rupandehi, Nabalpur, Bardiya and Kavre. In addition, the organization has worked together with different partners in 20 districts and offered free legal aid service in 71 districts. Since its establishment in 2003, People Forum has based its work in six major working strategies: free legal service to migrant workers; advocacy for law reformation and policy implementation; public interest litigation; capacity development of migrant workers, government and non-government service providers; co-ordination and networking among the actors and research on legal issues of labour migrnation. Objectives of the project: Impact: The promotion of rights of migrant workers shall be the major impact of the proposed action. Outcomes: 1. Empowerment of migrant workers (right holders) to claim their rights. 2. Advocacy for rights of migrant workers. www.peopleforum.org.np

Change The Game Academy Nepal
Nepal Change the Game Academy Consortium (NCC) started its work in Nepal from November 2018. NCC consisted of the consortium of CSRC, ICCO Cooperation, Sahakarmi Samaj and Tewa. NCC was responsible for organizing a series of Change the Game Academy (CtgA) training in Nepal with the support from Wilde Ganzen. In the consortium, ICCO Nepal played a coordinating role to plan, implement and monitor the project. In December, 2018 ICCO Cooperation coordinated the Training of Trainers events for local civil society organizations with the help of Wilde Ganzen, MDF and Change the Game Academy. 12 A level trainers from Consortium participated in the training. Participants from India and Kenya were also there in the training program. The fundraising session was facilitated by Ger Robeling and Manju. Similarly, mobilizing support was facilitated by Ewoud Plate and Susan Njambi Odongo. After preparing trainers to organize 3 Local Fundraising Training and 1 Mobilizing Support Training, the Nepal team did the contextualization of the training content which includes translation of training manual and literature. Then in 2019 and 2020, 4 classroom trainings were conducted along with refresher courses and several virtual coaching sessions. So far 81 participants are trained in Local Fundraising and 29 have been trained on Mobilization Support. Apart from classroom training, Wilde Ganzen also supported the consortium during the Covid19 pandemic and helped in doing activities related to strengthening women's groups and enhancing livelihoods of marginalized communities. ICCO cooperation supported the Badi community in Kailali District, Sahakarmi Samaj supported marginalized communities in Dang and Bardiya. Similarly, CSRC supported farmers and daily wage workers in Mahottari District and Tewa also responded to the community with relief items, WASH activities and grant programs for their grantee partners. Total 1409 households were supported with relief materials.

Gender and Social Inclusion responsive AA for the mitigation and prevention of flood-related risks on women and other vulnerable groups (WEST)
The main objective of this project is to provide protection and non-food item assistance to communities on the basis of early flood warnings in Bardiya and Kailali. This UNWomen project deploys gender equality and social inclusion advisors to ensure monsoon flood response and monitoring plans and preparations are gender-sensitive, socially-inclusive and non-discriminatory. Additionally the project distributes comprehensive relief packages to flood-affected households and deploys specialists to monitor the distribution of humanitarian assistance and the delivery of humanitarian services as part of the anticipatory action pilot. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 1,300 people, including 1,100 women, 200 men.

In consultation with partners a comprehensive anti-poaching operation strategy will be developed for Bardia National Park.

TIGER CONSERVATION INITIATIVES OUTSIDE PROTECTED AREAS IN THE TERAI ARC LANDSCAPE NEPAL TO MAINTAIN THE LINKAGES OF TWO TIGER SUB-POPULATIONS AND SUSTAIN THE TIGER POPULATION GROWTH
Funds under this award are to be used to ensure the survival of the dispersing tigers from Chitwan and Bardia National Parks and maintain the genetic linkages between them. Project objectives are to, (1) understand the distribution, status and habitat use of tigers in the Churia Hill forests between Chitwan and Bardia National Parks and identify critical areas for tiger conservation, (2) assess the tiger dispersal through genetic analysis, (3) enhance habitat quality and increase prey density in critical areas, (4) reduce threats to tigers by raising the local awareness, and, (5) build capacity of the community forest user groups and generate scientific information about tigers.
